She works with the shared services team to go beyond compliance to continuous business improvement and in so doing become true business partners – in the same way that we work with our clients to help you be a step ahead in terms of solutions. Systems and sustainability.
Charlotte studied for her LLB (Hons) degree in Law and French at Cardiff University this included a year obtaining a Diploma in French Legal Studies from Jules Verne Universite de Picardie in France.
She began her career at Centrica, parent company of British Gas, where she was involved in procurement and specifically IT procurement across a broad range of work programs.
From 2007 to 2009 Charlotte spent time between Asia, Australia and the UK undertaking voluntary work, commercial management for Lacima Group (Sydney based professional services firm) and Ericsson Television (fka Tandberg Television).
In 2010 Charlotte moved to New Zealand and joined Tait Communications as Commercial Manager. She worked on the commercial and legal aspects of a large variety of client projects globally across public safety, utilities and transportation and in 2015 became the Group Commercial Manager. In 2017 Charlotte joined the Tait Leadership Team as GM Corporate responsible for corporate risk management, QHSE and HR. In 2019 she took the opportunity to broaden her leadership portfolio by joining Abley to lead the shared services functions and bring her specific commercial and contracting expertise to the team.
Charlotte loves working in diverse and smart teams on business issues and enjoys the challenge of turning strategy into reality.
Outside of work she makes the most of time with family being active, creative and in the outdoors.
