Nichola completed her Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Management, while working at the University of Canterbury. Her roles at the university involved working closely with people, either the academics, the students, or prospective students, who she travelled around the country to meet.
When joining Abley, Nichola continued to work closely with people, initially in ‘jack of all trades’ roles, including administration, marketing, human resource, operational process and policy. As the business grew, Nichola’s role has branched into a more specialised area of human resources. Being focused on this area has allowed her to flourish in an environment where she can really make a difference to her colleagues’ work life, which she finds very fulfilling.
